W5 Solutions has won a long-term procurement agreement with the traffic administration in Stockholm. The deal concerns PARCOM, a vandal-proof glass window telephone for all ticket offices.
The vandal-proof glass telephone creates a safe working environment for the staff at Stockholm’s public transportation – at metro and commuter train stations. The agreement includes spare parts for existing systems but also delivery of entirely new systems.
Over 200 systems are in operation today.
– It is very valuable to be able to contribute to a safe working environment for the staff regarding their safety but also to contribute to a better environment when it comes to heating and cooling and not least infection safety, says Lars Pettersson, Sales Manager Communication and Cables in Solna.
PARCOM is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The transaction was completed as of October 2020.
