W5 has received a large order from a European truck manufacturer regarding the SAFECOM system – a communication system for trucks that helps staff on the flatbed talk to the driver in the truck cab easily.
For over 300 systems to a value of approximately SEK 8 million, the order was made in March 2020, and deliveries will occur during Q4 2020 and Q1 2021.
– We are, of course, happy to have been approved as a supplier to the automotive industry – also to a highly respected and reputable European vehicle supplier. We see significant market potential for this type of security system in the future, says Lars Pettersson, Sales Manager Communication and Cables in Solna.
Maintenance support is also included in the agreement.
The transaction was completed as of March 2020.
