The fast-growing and high-tech defence company W5 Solutions listed on Nasdaq First North, today announced that they will receive a contract to manufacture an interchangeable ARCHER artillery system simulator cabin for KMW (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann). KMW will supply The Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) with an additional cabin for their existing vehicle egress trainer.
The contract between FMW and KMW was signed in Orlando, Florida, at the Interservice / Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) tradeshow.
The vehicle egress trainer developed by KMW can accommodate specially manufactured vehicle cabins and simulate rollovers. The Swedish Army currently has three vehicle egress trainer systems with which it trains egress from CV90 cabins.
Further details will be announced of the contract between KMW and W5 Solutions.
